Biographical Introduction:KGracy

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University, where I have developed and delivered coursework in digital preservation and curation, moving image archiving, preservation and conservation of cultural heritage materials, and archival description and representation.


My research interests include:
  • • Moving image archiving and preservation
  • • Digital preservation and curation
  • • Linked data in cultural heritage applications
  • • Social contexts of information creation and use
  • • Preservation education
I completed my undergraduate degree in English and French (BA) from the University of California, Berkeley. I possess an MA in Critical Studies of Film and Television from UCLA, and an MLIS and PhD in Library and Information Science from UCLA.
